get_changelog
Returns your API's recent changes, and which ones break existing calls. Lets an agent answer "what do I need to change to upgrade?" from your real history. Each entry is one spec version compared with the one before.
When it's listed
On every server, in every tool mode. A tool group can leave the documentation tools out.
Arguments
breakingOnlybooleanOnly entries with breaking changes.
projectIdstringThe project to read. Leave it out: the server already knows its project, and passing another one reads that project instead.
Returns
The latest release note, when you wrote one, then the three most recent entries. Each has its versions and date, then the endpoints that were added, removed or changed, with what changed beneath each and (breaking) on a change that breaks calls. Fifteen endpoints are listed per entry at most.
Hints
The annotations a client reads to decide what may run without asking the user.
| Hint | Value | When true, it means |
|---|---|---|
readOnlyHint | true | It doesn't change anything |
destructiveHint | false | It can change or delete data |
idempotentHint | true | Calling it twice does no more than once |
openWorldHint | true | It reaches outside the server, over the network |
Examples
Breaking changes only
Run against a test project with several spec versions.
