Octri

what_changed

Lists the tools that changed since the agent last connected. Your tools change as your API does: a renamed tool, a new required argument. An agent reusing arguments from an earlier conversation would fail without knowing. Each changed tool carries a short note, and this tool gives the full account. See what changed notices.

When it's listed

When change notices are on, which they are unless you turn them off in MCP Studio or set OCTRI_CHANGE_NOTICES=0, and the server's history holds at least one change. Never in practice mode.

Arguments

sincestringdefault: since this agent last connected

A release number, such as 12, or a date, such as 2026-10-01. With nothing known about the agent, the last 14 days.

toolsarray of strings

Only these tools, by their current or old names.

breakingOnlybooleandefault: false

Only changes that can break a call that worked before.

Returns

The releases covered, then a line per tool: how it changed (added, removed, renamed or changed), whether that breaks calls, and in which releases, with the arguments that were added, removed or changed beneath it.

Hints

The annotations a client reads to decide what may run without asking the user.

HintValueWhen true, it means
readOnlyHinttrueIt doesn't change anything
openWorldHintfalseIt reaches outside the server, over the network
