Quickstart
In this guide you import a spec, publish a docs site, and then add an SDK, an MCP server and monitoring. You only need an OpenAPI file. If you don't have one, Octri has an example you can use.
Create your docs
- Sign up and name your project
Create an account. A project represents one API.
- Import your spec
Connect a GitHub repository, upload a file, link a URL or paste the spec. Choose Try an example to use a ready-made API. All the ways to import.
- Let the pages generate
Octri validates the spec and builds a reference page for each endpoint your plan covers. You can leave the page while this runs.
- Review them in API Studio
Open API Studio. Your navigation is on the left and the page you're editing is in the middle. Change anything you like: nothing is public yet. Tour of the studio.
- Publish
Press Publish. Your docs are now live at your project's address. To use your own, see custom domains.
Add the other products
You can add these in any order, using the spec you already imported.
Choose a language in SDK Studio and run a build.
Give an AI assistant your docs and your API.
Start seeing errors, traces and latency.
Prefer the terminal?
The CLI does the same from a terminal or a CI job: install it, sign in, then import your spec.
