What every plan includes, Free included
The tiers differ by volume. The product does not change shape underneath you when you upgrade.
All four products
Documentation, SDKs, monitoring and the MCP server are one plan. Leave any of them switched off and turn it on later.
Your own domain
Custom domains are on every tier. Docs subdomains are random ids, so this is the only route to a branded URL and it is not something to pay for.
The full docs editor
Reference-doc editing is free on all plans. Regeneration works around your edits because they are stored per page.
GitHub sync
Connect a repository on any tier. A merged change to your spec rebuilds the draft and shows you a diff to approve.
AI docs and Ask-the-docs
Both run on every tier, metered by credits. Free starts with 100 of them.
No per-seat pricing
Plans are priced per organisation. Adding a teammate costs nothing and there is no seat count to manage.
What Free does cap: 1 project, 1 SDK language, 50 endpoints and 100 MB of monitoring a month.
Where the numbers come from
Three meters run. Everything else about the product is unmetered.
Endpoints

Counted from the operations in your spec, across all your projects. It is the one meter you can predict exactly before you sign up, because your spec already answers it.

AI credits
100 to 5,000 a month
One credit generates the documentation for one endpoint, and one credit answers one Ask-the-docs question. Nothing is weighted or estimated, so a 200-endpoint spec documents itself for 200 credits and you can work a month out in advance.
- Outside the credit system: editing docs by hand, building SDKs, hosting your site, and receiving monitoring data.
- Never billed twice: regenerating a page whose spec and content have not changed is served from cache, and a failed generation is not charged.
Monitoring ingress
100 MB to 20 GB a month
Measured by the volume your applications send, and reset with your monthly cycle. Ingestion is not cut off at the allowance, because the middle of an incident is when volume spikes and when you need the data most.
- Past the allowance: data keeps being accepted up to 10 times it, with the excess tracked as overage.
- At that ceiling: a 429 with a Retry-After header, so your SDK backs off and retries. Overage is recorded today and is not charged.
What a bill actually adds up to
A base package, plus a flat rate for SDK languages beyond the bundle. Nothing else recurs.

The annual discount applies to the base package. Language add-ons bill at twelve times their monthly rate, so a yearly plan with add-ons is cheaper than a monthly one by 15% of the base alone. Coming from Product Hunt takes 25% off an annual base. Enterprise is agreed with us and is never a self-serve checkout.

A project is one API with its own spec, docs site and SDKs. Version history is how many published SDK versions stay retrievable.
